Show Information

The Show Information section is a read-only statistical overview of the current show — its cues, timelines, displays, assets, and file details. Nothing is changed here. Use it for auditing, documentation, and pre-deployment checks.

Accessing Show Information

Show Information is at the bottom of the Show Properties panel. Open Show Properties by deselecting everything, or choose File → Show Properties. The Show Information section is collapsed by default. Expand it to see the subsections.

Statistics

Cue Summary

Shows the total number of cues, with a breakdown by kind:

  • Media Cues — render visual or audio content (image, video, audio, composition, capture)
  • Control Cues — playback control (go, pause, stop, jump)
  • Output Cues — affect display output behavior
  • Variable Cues — set or modify show variables
  • Marker Cues — comment and marker cues for notes, show calling, and countdowns

The total counts every cue, including placeholder cues, which have no breakdown row. The total can therefore be larger than the sum of the five kinds above.

Timeline Details

Shows the number of timelines. Expand it to see each timeline with its name, Duration (formatted HH:MM:SS or MM:SS), and a cue count broken down by kind.

Compositions

Shows the number of compositions in the show. Compositions are self-contained visual elements with their own internal layers and cues, reused across timelines.

Display Summary

Shows the total number of displays, broken down by output type:

  • GPU Displays — direct GPU output to connected monitors or projectors
  • NDI® Displays — output over NDI® network video
  • SDI Displays — output over SDI hardware
  • Virtual Displays — software-only displays for compositions, previsualization, or design

ST 2110 displays are not listed here and are not included in the displayed total.

Asset Summary

Shows the number of used assets — only assets actually referenced by the show (in cues or display configurations), not the whole Asset Manager library. The breakdown by asset type:

Images, Videos, Audio, Compositions, Display Data, Models, EDID, Art-Net Fixtures, Art-Net Recordings, Fonts, SVGs, and Unknown.

Unknown counts assets the show references but the Asset Manager cannot find. A non-zero count may indicate missing or deleted assets.

Asset types are detected automatically from each file. A file with both video and audio is counted in both the Videos and Audio rows. The rows can therefore sum higher than the Number of Used Assets total.

Technical Details

File-level information about the show:

  • Name — the show file name, without extension
  • Created — file creation date and time
  • File Path — full path to the show file on disk
  • File Size — size of the show file, in human-readable units
  • Last Modified — most recent modification date and time

If the show was opened from a Director rather than a local file, these fields show "n/a".
